BridgeFort Community Outreach is a charitable organization that focuses on providing support and social assistance services through outreach initiatives to low-income youth, adults, and seniors. We achieve this through developing and running programs that are relevant and tailored to our target audience. Some of such programs include our food drive outreach, mentorship platform, as well as our summer camps. 

Our core focus is low-income youth, adults, and seniors within the Waterloo and Peel Region in the Province of Ontario. However, as we grow, we aim to expand our activities to regions and countries so as to increase our impact.  We employ creative and relevant methods to provide support and social assistance to our target audience while ensuring that their needs are met and they are encouraged to maximize their full potential. Likewise, our programs are developed in a way that caters to different groups of people in the society, regardless of their gender, religious beliefs, race, or ethnic background. We also ensure that a safe space is created for everyone while encouraging diversity and inclusion. For us, “everyone is welcome”.

In addition, we believe that support and collaboration are important in reaching our goals. Therefore, we encourage volunteering among our beneficiaries at our different outreaches, by giving them the opportunity to give back their time through our organization. Likewise, we seek and encourage collaborations with relevant organizations and institutions that have a similar vision.

Finally, we recognize the need for monitoring and evaluation, especially when working with communities, hence, we work closely with local, municipal, and provincial organizations and agencies in achieving optimal results. Our staff also work closely with volunteers and corporate community partners to achieve our goals and further our mission as an organization.

Just like our tag line that says, “Dream, Plan, Do”; we encourage individuals to go beyond their current circumstances and dream again, and then create plans to support the dream, while also putting them into action.
